How do you respond when you come across a crisis situation? Rely on past experiences? Consult with others who’ve been in similar situations?

Jesus said you are the Light of the world. He came into the world as light to the people in the darkness that included me and you. When he left the world Jesus wanted us to continue the work that he has started. So, He expects his followers to be the light of the world.

Many times, we see provisions in terms of wealth or materialistic blessing or just earthly necessities being fulfilled. But God’s plans and provisions are much higher than that.

Jesus answered to devil “‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God”. Yes, Jesus overcame the devil’s temptations by the Word of God. God’s word is the Shepherd’s voice to us

Our God is not only ordaining our day-to-day steps, he also strengthens us in this journey of faith. When we are tempted and tested, when we are weak in our faith and becomes weary, he restores our soul. He shall lead us to the path of righteousness.

He found the lost one in order to deliver them the power of the sin. By the death of Jesus Christ (the sinless, unblemished lamb of God) he took the punishment on himself to give us a new life. A fresh start.

David praise God in psalm 139 thinking of how fearfully and wonderfully God had made him. He says when he was knit together in his mother’s womb, he wasn’t hidden from God’s eyes.

The Biblical pattern for male and female is equality of worth at the same time as difference of role in the family, in the church and in society.
