Greetings to all in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

"Year of Transformation" is the theme for the year 2020. We as a church family pray and ask that God would bring the transformation within us and around the globe. 

"Change/transformation is a process not an event". Jesus called a group of men who were trained in different professions but none of them was ever equipped to become what Jesus wanted them to be. So, Jesus had to teach, train and show them how a disciple lives what is expected from their lives. Or we could say how a disciple of Jesus would look like. If we carefully study the words of Jesus, we would notice that He not only taught us what to change but also how to change. Often times we also face the same dilemma; we know what but are stuck before the question how?

So Jesus said to the people those who were depressed, confused, burdened, unsuccessful and thirsty for the true freedom to COME TO HIM. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28).  "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink." (John 7:37) 

Answer for the question HOW is very clear here - we must Go to Him, who can fulfill us.

Once we go to him and seek his face, we are no more strangers to Him but a part of God’s family. Bible says "Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God".(John 1:12) Once we were strangers and haters of God but now, we have BECOME the member of the family of God. We are no more slaves but the very Spirit of God is dwelling in us and continuing the work of redemption that was started through the son Jesus." (Galatians 4:7)

Since we are God’s children, just as a father protects, provides, guides and disciplines his children, our heavenly Father will protect, provide, guide and discipline us so that we would OVERCOME the world and be transformed to become like Jesus. Jesus said "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."(John 16:33)

As a child of God, we must be part of a Bible believing Church, because Church is the body of Christ and God operates and fulfills His plans through His church.
