Have you hit a rock – bottom in your life or do you feel there is no U-Turn from the way you have gone?

Are you in that position where you have tried various things but you still have the void in your heart only enlarging? Don’t give up – God has a greater plan about your life – your life had never reached to a place/distance that’s beyond the reach of God to restore you.

I wanted to start with this passage “A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out ” – Isaiah 42.3

The story of the Samaritan women is a great inspiration in this lines – had a broken relationship, one after the other, rejected by various men in her life or the women who brought to Jesus post being caught in adulatory. We see Jesus going- ahead breaking all the norms and culture - going ahead forgiving and spoke to them about the living water that which would make them thirsty again.

Jesus tells come all who are weak and heavy laden – I will give you rest. The first thing you need to realize is that- irrespective of where you stand today, Jesus tell “Come Just as you are”.

The greatest hope of the mankind in this world could be found looking into the Calvary- Lord Jesus had the most brutal death hanging on the cross; this was done to show the Love God has for each of us. Let it be whatever you struggle with today a failure at your studies, work, marriage or any other personal situation - you have never gone far from the place in which God could work in your life.

In the story of the Prodigal Son – we see the younger son left the father and deciding to go out and live his life after desires and through the story we see that the son lost all his wealth, was dejected by his friends and was in a miserable state. That’s where he remembers of the abundance of joy/life he had back in his father house, he decides that he is going to go back to his father and ask for repentance and be back with him. The next scene we see is that father seeing the sight of the son return he runs to welcome him back home. The story ends with father conducting a great fest on his sons return and gets the son to wear a new robe and ring.

You may connect with the above story – do you feel that your life has drifted away from God on the course of your life journey; maybe you find yourself bonded with certain addiction / wrong relationships. The entire journey back to God starts with the trust in God’s love - Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. God will start a new work in your life – the scripture tells anyone who believes in God is a new creation.

The old hymn goes this way “ What a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and grieves to bear, what a privilege to carry everything to the Lord in prayer”.

In the book of Isaiah, we read God telling –“ I will sprinkle water upon them and make them, I would also remove their heart that’s of stone and give them a heart of flesh, pour my spirit on them and teach them my statures ”.The scripture tells who the son sets free is free!

Would you pray today and ask the Lord come into your life and help you rebuild your life, he will be there with you – even while you are battling with loneliness/depression or any other thoughts – the scripture tell – He is knocking in the door of heart, hearing his voice – would you open up and allow him to come in ?. It just matters that small prayer in your heart to repent – the lord is there to forgive and help you forward.
