Psalm 93 begins by proclaiming a maxim: "The Lord Reigns!"

As we read on, we can see that the psalmist is evidently in the midst of a great crisis. "The seas have lifted up, O Lord," he cries out, "the seas have lifted up their voice."

But then looks above, and we see a notable comparison being drawn- a noble revelation, where he sees that the God he serves is "mightier" than the breakers of the sea. As we go through an unprecedented crisis today, let's not forget that our Lord is still on His throne, and He is mightier than the crisis.
